Jimmy Jones and Michael HootonScience and engineering fair

To inspire students to learn more about Alaska’s seas and to pursue science, NPRB sponsors special awards each year at the Alaska State Science and Engineering Fair.

The awards go to students in elementary, middle school and high school whose projects focus on the marine sciences. Prizes included cash awards, an NPRB calendar, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward.
