North Pacific Research Board

2011 Winners

Congratulations to this year's winners, selected from a pool of more than 230 entries from adult and youth contestants.

The Photo Contest seeks original images of coastal or ocean seascapes or sea life within U.S. waters from the Gulf of Alaska, Prince William Sound, the Aleutian Islands, Bering Sea, Bering Strait or Beaufort/Chukchi Seas.

After an initial review by a panel of photography professionals, the six top images were chosen by Board and Advisory Panel members at their April 2011 meetings. Winners received cash prizes. Learn more about the NPRB Photo Contest
