To inspire students to learn more about Alaska’s seas and to pursue science, NPRB sponsors special awards each year at the Alaska State Science and Engineering Fair.
NPRB awards go to students in elementary, middle school and high school whose projects focus on the marine sciences. Prizes include cash awards ($50 elementary, $75 middle school, and $100 high school), an NPRB calendar, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward for the student and parents.
