NPRB Seeks Candidates for Executive Director Position

The North Pacific Research Board (NPRB) announces that current Executive Director, Denby Lloyd, has decided not to renew his contract which expires in October 2016. Over the next six months, the board will be seeking his successor. The Executive Director is a senior-level position, and applicants should have at least 10-years of experience in research and/or organizational management with a minimum 5 years of program-level supervisory experience. Under the direction of the board, this position provides organizational leadership while maintaining and enhancing the organization’s reputation for excellence in marine research. Mr. Lloyd has served as Executive Director since October, 2013. His knowledge of Alaska marine research and fisheries management along with his well-developed leadership skills has provided the board with stability, growth, and added to NPRB’s excellence in funding high quality marine research. Mr. Lloyd has served Alaska proudly for over 40 years, the last several of which have been with NPRB. We wish him success in his next attempt at retirement.
